ISSAC’s commitment to STEM education was evident on November 19 at Colorado Springs’ Palmer High School. Ray Deiotte, ISSAC Director of Engineering & Innovation, made a special presentation on Systems Engineering as part of the school’s STEM Lunch and Learn event. Approximately 60 students attended the presentation, which highlighted the exciting scope of a professional Systems Engineer’s job. The need for students to excel in STEM-related courses was also stressed as a key element if they want to become Systems Engineers.
