ISSAC recently participated in the 2014 Defense Energy Summit held in Austin, Texas, from November 11-13. Three full days of events were featured at the Summit, which was held in tandem with the National SBIR/STTR Fall Conference & Showcase. The Defense Energy Summit covered the entire defense-energy ecosystem, focusing on the needs and solutions of energy providers, growth stage companies, defense contractors and military installations. Leaders from the Department of Defense and the Executive Office of the President served as keynote speakers. The Summit explored solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense across both installation and operational program needs. Attending from ISSAC were President/Owner/Founder Tim Jones, Director of Engineering Ray Deiotte and Chief of Marketing & Technology Transfer Joe Swaty.
